Whitewater Kayaking Pittsburgh

What to do in Pittsburgh area?

I’m staying about an hour from Pittsburgh & we’re looking for something to do. we’ve looked at kayaking & whitewater rafting, but i don’t have a swimsuit here and whitewater sounds like it’d scare me.
Is there anything a 13 year old girl, her 18 year old brother, and dad would all enjoy?
Thanks!

Take a ride on the Gateway Clipper, visit the Canegie Museum and the Carnegie Science Center, Tour downtown on a Just Duky amphibian tourmobile, go to Mt Washington to see a beautiful view of a clean beautiful city and then ride the incline back down. Take a drive out to Fallingwater, the famous Frank Lloyd Wright house, go to the Strip District and eat a Primanti Brothers sandwich, where they put the fries and coleslaw right on the sandwich! (They are celebrating their 75th anniversery this year). Go to Kennywood Park,a wonderful old fashioned amusment park, with a world famous roller coaster, the Thunderbolt. There are so many things to do in and around Pittsburgh, I don’t know why that person would say anything bad about this place. Check out wpxi.com or just google Pittsburgh

I almost forgot-we have The National Aviary-a most excellent place to visit and we also have the PPG Zoo & Aquarium- the zoo is all natural habitat. 2 baby elephants were born there just in the past few weeks and are now out in their yards!
