What To Wear Kayaking

What clothes do I need to pack for Thailand in November?

I’m going for a month this November. I’ll be in Bangkok for 3 days, then on a remote island for a week (not a touristy one – I’ll probably do a safari and go kayaking through mangrove forests), then there’s 3 days in the jungle and staying in rafthouses on a lake. After that I have two weeks that I haven’t planned but I’ll probably be off the usual tourist routes – either in the north, or in Laos or Cambodia.

The things I’ve read give conflicting information – some say I’ll only want to wear shorts and flip flops, others say I’ll need to cover up to protect myself from leeches and mosquitoes.

What I’d like is a sensible list of what to pack. What kind of trousers and tops, how many pairs of shorts, what kind of footwear, etc. Any help or advice would be very much appreciated! Oh, and I’d love to hear about your experience if you’ve been there.

going to thailand you need the very basics as the weather is hot around 80 warm at night, you will wear shorts and light jeans, take as little as possible as you can buy everything you need cheap and I mean cheap and all the more goodies you can take back in your case ,enjoy only advice from an old man but will enjoy , by the way it never rains for another 5months
