cornwall or isles of scilly?

help- i want to go to one of these great places but cant decide.i want to be able to do surfing,kayaking and diving.have a couple of secluded beach spots to have a bit of time to think and see some whales and dolphins.which one is best?please help

I come from the Isles of Scilly take a look at http://scillywebcam.blogspot.com for lots of useful info.
You will find the best diving and kayaking in the county on the Isles of Scilly.
There are good evening fishing trips that go out looking to catch Blue Sharks that are tagged carefully and released, on these trips Dolphins are frequently seen but not every time!
Whales are rarely seen anywhere off the Islands or Cornwall, so no guarantee there unfortunately..
Also you will not find any surf at all on the Isles of Scilly.
The only place where there is any wave break at all is over very dangerous rocky ledges away from the beaches.
Maybe a few days in Cornwall surfing and a few days in Scilly diving and kayaking.
Try kayakscilly for kayaks and Island Sea Safaris for diving.
All of the beaches on Scilly can be considered secluded and most of them you may well find yourself to be the only person on the beach!
