Do I have what is takes? Princeton? Yale?

I have a 96.1 avg (uw) from the “best” public high school in NYC, I am in the Kayaking, Rowing, and Salsa club. Am a member of Arista, an honors and volunteering society. Sat- Math 720 CR- 730 Writing- 720. I took AP European history in sophomore year, and now as a senior I am taking AP Calculus BC, AP Physics B, AP Spanish Language. I took the SAT 2 physics- 700, and did not get results yet from SAT 2 math 2 and literature. I am a girl, and am interested in Mechanical Engineering. I am applying Yale Ea, and will do Princeton regular.

Yes you have a very good chance to get into Princeton and Yale. Ivy League schools like a well rounded person who just isn’t into only academics. The fact that you are in clubs shows that you have life outside of school. Also, since you took AP Classes, it goes to show that you are able to handle college level classes even when your in high school. Your good the way you are which is being smart and versatile! Good Luck in your acceptance! I recommend Princeton over Yale btw =P. You should apply to Columbia University, its great (cause I’m in it!)
