What towns or cities have the lowest income apartments?

Does anyone know? Im looking to move, but right now I have little money, basically, I am looking for a decent little town with nice people where I can get a little apartment for rent each month. Im not poor its just I'm looking to travel and would like spend a couple of months to see if its right for me. now I'm in California and here its just too convenient, but expensive. Also if there is a nearby lake, where I swim or kayak or use my waverunner cool too.

It really just depends on where you are willing to travel to the amount and appearance to spend. I'm sure you could find the real estate companies that may be of help in finding out something for you and your budget. I live in a small town northeast of Jacksonville, FL and I absolutely love it. Everything is local and the rent is very affordable and the people are very friendly here.
