Is Virginia Beach a good place to vacation? How are their outdoor activities?

Heading to VA Beach for vacation & have heard it’s a party scene. I’m interested in outdoor/adventure activities (kayaking, surfing, nature, paddleboarding) plus museums

Virginia Beach really isn’t a “party scene.” All the activities you listed are available, but it’s more of a family oriented atmosphere than a drunken spring break kind of place… not that I’m suggesting it’s what you meant by “party scene”, I’m just pointing out the differences.
