Taking a small boat down the missouri?

would it be possible to take a small boat down the Missouri like a kayak and camp along the way, or would I run into some problems, rapids? maybe the occasional dam. I’d start somewhere in North Dakota and end in northern Nebraska or southern South Dakota

you most likely run into dams things like that. i would have a GPS with me and a cell phone for if i needed it and some type of protection. I would do my homework on it before i went out.
