I’m under 18. Can I travel from the USA to Amsterdam?
Hello. My name is Ian Mooney, and I’m a professional gamer. As you may know, professional gaming is basically a business, if not, now you do.
Anyways, there’s an event going on in amsterdam, then in germany, then in paris, and back, that I have to attend, but it seems like every time I go to a travel agent site, like kayak.com, that it says I need to be 18 or older. This is quite the problem, as it is essential that I attend each of these events.
What must I do to get past this? If my mom(who may I add, is not going) calls up the main airline company from America thats taking me, would she be able to clear this? And will I have any problems with the airlines in Amsterdam?

I’ve been to Amsterdam when I was 16 but it was with my parents, although there was a girl I met on the plane that was 15 and by herself! You just need to get it arranged to have someone from the airport meet up with you when you get there and be a “shadow” to you until you get onto the plane.
After you get that arranged, get a passport ASAP! It takes between 6 weeks-2months to have it processed, so the sooner the better.
