Where is the best place to kayak in N. NJ?

Live in Budd Lake and want to go somewhere that’s not too far? We usually go to the Delaware River but we don’t have a lot of time to drive there (1hr). Is the Musconetcong River as swift a current- are there any others withing 30-45 minutes of Budd Lake (Morris County) that are fun? They are inflatables but they work fine in fast water.

Tell you what, I’ll give you the link to the paddling.net website for kayak trips in New Jersey, you review them. You know a lot more about what’s close to you. I would have sent you to the Delaware River and the water gap, but if that’s too far and it’s only an hour away. I drive there from Long Island and I’m more than two hours away. Of course your other option is the same as mine. Take advantage of the Atlantic Ocean and find some places to kayak down there.

Here’s the link to paddling.net.
Good luck in your search..
