Gorge Kayaking

Kayak in Red River Gorge, Kentucky?
We are interested in parts of the river kayak in Red River Gorge. I heard the upper river is the most difficult part River. Has anyone ever been kayaking up there? What is the level of difficulty. We own kayaks, but they are more experienced. Any contribution will be helpful. Thank you!
