where is the best place to kayak in connecticut?

There are loads of lakes around as you probably know… I’m most familar with the north east, but I haven’t lived there for years.

Lake Williams is fun but a bit small, but the islands have houses on and you can explore, nearby is

Columbia Lake is larger but with fewer exploring options.

There is a great lake in the Ashford but I can’t remember the name…
