One of the most important steps to getting sponsored to fish tournaments (if fishing for bass, walleye, fish, musky, redfish, needle, etc.) is to focus on what you can do for your sponsor not what your sponsor can do for you. In trying to obtain sponsorship from a company, make a list of things that could provide your sponsor.

Putting on shoes potential sponsors. Want to give money so that fish can? More than likely he or she does not want to do that. No matter what business you are in contact for sponsorship, I want to know more seen in it for me! In other words, What do you do for me?

To answer this question, pretend that they were in their final year of high school and their primary role was to be written: Ten ways to promote a potential sponsor. If that were the case you will do everything possible research to find 10 ways to do it and then write their paper.

Do the same when preparing to contact your potential sponsors. When you approach them with 7, 8, or 10 ways you will promote the them; youÂ're answer questions   "And you for me? Â"

Remember that the next time you approach the youÂ'll potential sponsors and dramatically increase your chances of getting sponsored fishing tournaments.
