Best Kayaking In Oahu

Last Minute Oahu trip-What Must I Do?

I will be leaving for Oahu tomorrow and will be there for 6 days. I am going to help my sister with her new baby but hope to spend two days or nights seeing sights.

I would appreciate recommendations for

The best Beach-least crowded with tourists. (I am coming from essentially Wisconsin and can see fat tourists in bathing suits at our indoor water parks!)

Best Recreation options; perhaps kayaking, surf lessons; snorkling, or ?

Least Cheezy Luau!

Best Sushi/Best Seafood resturant. I’m looking for the best food-I don’t care so much about the atmosphere provided it is not a shopping mall food court type.

Best Nightlife-bar hopping plan (prefer locals to tourist traps)

THANK YOU!

The best luau is Paradise Cove.

First time to Oahu? If you don’t like crowded beaches stay away from Waikiki. Sunset beach is beautiful.

The Arizona memorial is a great experience.

Near Waikiki, about 1/4 mile from the Ala Moana Shopping center is the Kewalo Basin harbor – para-sailing, snorkeling and SCUBA available there.
