Has anyone ever circumnavigated the Earth on foot?

I read that on guy traveled the world on foot, but he only walked across the US, Europe to India, and Australia and flew in a plane for the rest. I wonder if anyone has ever done it by only using their own power, like going across the Bering strait by man powered kayak or canoe or something like that, but nothing that will transport you without effort, as well as getting across the Atlantic through Iceland and Greenland again by man powered transport?
I doubt that it has, but i still wonder.
